|Recommended: YesAverage place to live — Place is nice enough and cozy, and staff tries to be helpful, but the cheap building materials and frequent apartment showings most weeks, sometimes up to three times a week are major annoyances. Every door in our apartment has had to be fixed or replaced within the first six months of living there and people were constantly wandering through our apartment. Didn't mind living here, but nothing special.
|Recommended: NoNice property, mediocre management — Management does not get back in a timely fashion, or even at all. Not helpful to fixing issues and finding solutions. Overall very rude and unprofessional.
|Recommended: YesLove the layout of apartment, confusing customer service — I never feel on the same page for anything as you all. So many questions about payments, what am I paying for Why am I getting billed for the same thing like a million times Why can't I set up auto pay without forcing my roommates to do the same They have different systems for paying for rent and don't want to set it up but why is that stopping me. I'd rather not get a late fee because I forgot.
When I actually ask these question I get questions in response, which is unhelpful. For example, once I asked why I'm paying an additional 830 when I was moving in and the person helping me responded with what have you already paid for You're paying for what you haven't paid for . um excuse me, I HAVE NO IDEA that is why I'm asking. btw still don't know why I had to pay another 830 so if I could get some clarification that would be great. but to be clear I'm not mad that I have to pay, I'm just confused why, I'll pay if I need to because I have no choice, I just want to know what I'm paying for.
Also please stop giving us the lump sum for rent, divide it evenly between us and give us it separately so we can handle the payments separately. Maybe others do it differently, ask them, then separate it for them but for us, it's even and it's annoying to have to deal with portal more than I need want to.
Also, idk what the policy for the person at the front desk is but I'm annoyed that my roommate demanded there be a front desk doorman so she's making me pay this rent but there's never a doorman. Also every time I actually do need them they're not there so is there a schedule or helpline I think this goes under my communication complaint.
The elevator is slow and it takes around 10 years to get to the 5th floor, I can't imagine the journey it takes to get to the 7th floor.
Can I go on the roof Its so nice and I thought I had access to it, it was heartbreaking when it was nice out and I wanted to do homework up there but it was locked.
Hate the countertop overhang space because its like 2 inches and I have long legs so I have to sit really far away from the counter top to eat my meals. This is unfixable because we would have negative storage or the countertop would take away from the tv area if it was any longer, so this is just an evil I'll have to live with.
The free laundry is great but is there a way to know when a machine is open I don't know if that's possible but it would be incredibly helpful.
The last complaint, I promise, there is one cabinet that is absolute worst part of my day when I have to open it. It's not broken so I can't call in a maintenance request its just installed so annoyingly that it drives me crazy. its hard to explain but basically, it's installed backward and trying to access that cabinet is a total pain. its where we put our plates bowls so I have to use it constantly and I absolutely hate it.
ok the less negative parts of this apartment complex and why I chose to live here again I absolutely love the layout of the apartment and the location. All the complaints I have I see as fixable with not any real trouble so that's why I decided to stay in this apartment.
I pretty sure my neighbors party 4 days a week and every time I am incredibly impressed that I cannot hear their music.
Furniture is comfortable and good hardwood floors. Bedrooms are well set up, absolutely love the closet and the space I have also the window is nice for letting in natural light. The natural light that gets into the apartment is amazing and easily one of my favorite aspects of the apartment. the bathroom is nice with the 2 sinks and the shower and toilet being separate.
In short, communication for what I'm paying for could be improved, changes to how the rent is given to us would be helpful for payments, access to the roof would be nice for the good weathered days, fix the cabinet, can't hear the neighbors which is impressive, layout of the rooms location is amazing, good furniture, love free landry but needs some improvements, and I know there's not much you can do about the elevator but appreciate that when it breaks down maintenance is very quick to fix it, overall this apartment is way better than my experience with the other SBA property, Lucky.

|Recommended: YesWould never rent from this company again — DO NOT RENT FROM STEVE BROWN The leasing agents are very shady and never return your phone calls. We contacted Andrew and other staff and told them to call us back multiple times and have never heard back from them. They will tell you anything to keep you happy but then the next day tell you the completely opposite thing.
Kayla, I'm sorry to hear that your experience with our team has been disappointing. This is not the rental experience we want you to be having. I believe Jackie followed up with you in early December, but if there are outstanding needs can you send them to me so I can ensure they're taken care of: [email protected]? Not that you should have to do this, but it will help me be clear on what's needed so we can fix it and then do better.

|Recommended: NoTerrible — I hate living here, the management is terrible and don't know how to do anything. They also set up showings every day, sometimes multiple times a day, which is ridiculous.
